Welcome to its-ch (ITS Switzerland) - its-ch

its-ch is the Swiss platform for the promotion of ITS in Switzerland. The platform brings together all stakeholders in the field of ITS. Although it primarily covers road transport, it is open to stakeholders from all transport modes.

The platform is currently pursuing three objectives:

  • The promotion of the knowledge on ITS
  • The promotion of safety
  • The promotion of the knowledge on mobility pricing

These three objectives are an integral part of the sustainable mobility principles.

The first priority is promoting better information about ITS among the public as well as for decision-makers.

ITS developments have an impact on traffic management and environment but the focus for the years to come is on the improvement of road safety. It is certain that transport safety is the domain where ITS solutions can provide the biggest potential for improvement, significantly reducing the number of road deaths.
